2022 After reflecting on my time as a volunteer, I certainly agree with all that has been said about the students – particularly how grateful and resilient they are. Smiles and laughter are common. What stood out for me, was (is) their optimism about the future. They are a delightful group of young people. The volunteers are diverse and supportive of each other. Experienced teachers were particularly generous with their knowledge and experience. I can’t comment enough about the alchemy Stephanie employs to select, guide and focus a group of international strangers into a cohesive team. Her unwavering commitment to the welfare of the students is inspirational. It was a great experience that I would recommend to others.
