Hi! I’m Fahimeh, 18 years old. I was in Habibi Center for a year and almost 6 months. I got to know this lovely organization from my friend. I remember her saying how much she could improve her English in a short period of time. Her compliment about this mysterious Habibi Center encouraged me to ask my social worker to register me there if it’s possible. After a while of studying there, I couldn’t part ways with this rewarding and nurturing organization even though my whole days were fully covered by the school and extra classes. In Habibi Center, this empathetic and casual place I didn’t only learn how to talk, read and write English but how to live in a loving way. The humble and mannerly teacher that I had taught me that life is beyond ordinary human experience and material things. I learned life can be way nicer if we help and love each other.
