Habibi Center is a very welcoming place to come teach. You will immediately feel part of the group and treated as a trusted colleague. Taking advantage of your time in Athens is promoted, but at the same time, teaching is taken seriously and is the communal focus. The students come from different places and situations and are all motivated to learn, as they choose to be here on top of their regular school and work obligations. Relationships with the students develop quickly in small classes 5x a week, you feel their trust in you and it propels you in your efforts. They call you “teacher”, a title they give you and one you will want to live up to.
