VOLUNTEERING FROM JULY 2026 TO AUGUST 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Habibi Center is a strange place. People come and go, both teachers and students. Still, there is continuity, because everyone is working toward the same goal: helping young immigrants as they transition into adulthood and build a life on a continent different from the one where they were born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back home, daily life is full of compromise, practicality and cynicism. At The Habibi Center, you’ll meet a revolving cast of people who have chosen to come there and do their best each day. We’re not doing anything grand, but for the few students who come to us, we can really make a difference. You can see that in the stories of the students who have passed through the school over the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have the opportunity and the inclination, come spend a few weeks there. Your life will be richer for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
